In our world, there are many strange and fantastical creatures, organisms and fauna. However, not often are the marvels of our minerals, flora and compounds that are found in our world spoken of. Below is a list that describes a few of the special properties of such materials and how they may be used.
{Panacea Flower}
Known as a miracle flower for many, the Panacea flower is named for its ability to be a cure-all to many diseases, even fatal ones. It's an incredibly rare find as the flower and its parts are the part of the plant that provide the medicinal properties, but the blooms once every few years, and only last for about a day.

{Nightsbane}
Found mostly in the southwestern regions of Nor, this plant adapted to 'neutralize' copious amounts of demonic energy that it was constantly exposed to, to keep it growing healthily. As a result of this, it grew much larger, and does actually have a sort of calming effect on demons when consumed by them, much akin to catnip to a feline. Demons often dry the petals and berries and brew it as tea with a mixture of chamomile to ease the body and mind, although eating it raw can have the same effect but far more potent. It is known by a few that brewing it super concentrated amounts can produce an effective tranquilizer against demons.

{Hallowmar}
Discovered and cultivated by angels and named after their great city, Hallowmar has properties very similar to that of dandelions, as it grows plentiful in the right conditions. known for its wing-shaped petals, said petals also allow it to glide long distances on the breeze, allowing it to spread far and wide across large open fields. Angels are the prime users of it, as it grows in surplus around the region of their city and smaller towns. The petals and fluffy thistle like bits are the parts that are mainly made use of--they can be dried for teas, or grounded up and used in medicinal paste that is known to seal small to medium wounds in a matter of hours. When brewed in tea, it has a citrus-like taste.
Black hallowmar is completely the same as regular hallowmar, save for it's taste in tea; it tastes more like blackcurrant. However, it doesn't stop angels and their superstitions; they believe black hallowmar is the sign of a bad omen, much how they view the stigmata as unfortunates.

{Starvillius}
While many go for simply picking the flower and using it either dried or fresh in brews or in spells, others can grow these plants to harvest the blue pollen that works just as well as the plant itself. It doesn't often grow in the wild and is known to only bloom at night and usually only in places with high magical potency.

{Ginnungite}Ginnugite is a obsidian-like material that discovered during the war, however many do not know of its existence or even where it comes from. It is named after the Norse realm of Ginnungagap, the void in which everything was created. There are currently two known varieties of this stone. It was used in a variety of ways during the war, such as carving blades and shields from it, to grinding it into fine powders to 'poison' magic users by taking away their ability to use mana.
Artificial Ginnungite is limited in its abilities; Similar to the Damascus steel, the methods in with to properly forge it was lost to history, making it imperfect. If overloaded with an immense amount of mana, it tends to shatter and dissolve into useless black sand, although this isn't widely known knowledge. It can eventually burn out as well, becoming inert and harmless after an extended period of time.
Naturally occurring Ginnungite was found to be far more dangerous than it's artificial counterpart, as it can also seemingly steal not only mana, but light and other forms of energy, simply sucking them up like a black hole. While an obscure mineral indeed, in places where the more magically inclined frequent, it is highly illegal. While not heavily policed in the southern regions of Nor, it is strictly kept out of the northern areas.
