Here are my characters, sorted by their relative ages and themes of characters. Generation One: Luca, Darius, Pipenissa, and Colt. Each of these characters have been around for a while and have seen enough conflict in their lifespan to be ready to retire, each one having taken a major role in the war with the evil witch, Kartheen, that spanned for a hundred years. Luca Mayar: Previously a member of the four Guardians of Carrhilon who acted in defense of the city during the war with the witch. Cursed by a witch and forced through the six realms of reincarnated with her memories intact. Darius Wyln: A member of the four Guardians of Carrhilon who acted in defense of the city during the war with the witch. Darius lost the woman he loved in the war and now he isolates himself from others. Pipenissa Larissa: The last of her Order, Pipenissa is a trickster and lives life to the fullest doing all she can to make life more exciting for everyone around her! Colt Elys: A member of the four Guardians of Carrhilon who acted in defense of the city during the war with the witch. Colt used himself as baited and was enslaved by the witch, but following her defeat, he was freed.
Generation Two: Grayson, Aion, Carys, and Vega. Each of these characters has overcome trials of their own and are now finding their own path through life, though their struggles are still ongoing and each has their own hopes and desires for the future. Grayson DeGrey: Son of a famous explorer and a noble family in Carrhilon, Grayson was bound for greatness. A prodigal mind and unique powers allow him to outwit his competition in battle and in negotiation Aion Naeth: The youngest son of a family of monster hunters, Aion broke from his family's tradition of binding to a single Greater Spirit and instead bound his soul to all the Celestial Spirits of his family's line. Carys Arete: A strong willed, individualistic woman who has made it her life's work to help others in need, using her unique powers to look into the hearts of others and help guide them to happiness. Vega Vica: An affluent prodigy of flames who uses his natural charm to make allies and run a successful night club in Calypso. He is also an active member of Carrhilon's Generals. Raine Malai: Born to a life of ease and wealth he never asked for, this Savage Noble defies his parents' expectations and dreams of being an adventurer and blacksmith rather than dealing with politics in Carrhilon.
Generation Three: Shiki, Galen, Tael, and Raca. Each of these characters is fairly fresh faced in the world, either just discovering their paths or just beginning to take their first steps on the road of the rest of their lives. Shiki Alberona: Daughter to a long line of mystics and diviners, Shiki has strayed from her path as a magus and instead focused on her academia until a botched assassination attempt turned her life upside down. Takeshi Kraujas: Disembodied soul forced into servitude for betraying an oath. Now, he protect the Alberona family through a cursed ring and is in the last lifetime of his contract. Galen Vesalius: Son to two famous doctors, Galen's life was decided for him before he was born. Now, he pursues his medical degree while helping Carys with her business in his downtime. Tael Naeyun: Son to the chief of defense in Carrhilon, Tael has lived his life in his father's shadow and hates him for it. He strives to make a name for himself, but with everything given to him on a silver platter, how can he? Raca Elys: Son to Colt Elys and just recently reunited with his father, Raca has had a rough life bouncing through orphanages and foster homes until he turned 18 and was kicked out on his own. Living on the streets hardened this boy into a man real quick. Ichika Tamashi: Born to a famous exorcist family in Tennebraum, Ichika's life was decided before she was born. After the death of her loving grandfather, she challenged her destiny by befriending spirits rather than outright banishing them and set out to prove her way of business could be just as effective as her predecessors'.
Guild Generation: Alden, Sin, Andria, Iravesh, and Picolo. Each of these characters has joined the Guild for different reasons but all call it home now, and seek to work with the Guildies to further their goals. Yazid Alden: Trapped in a tower for his childhood, Alden never got to see the world and experienced it through books. One in particular, The Starry Night Sky, foretells the story of this young man's life... Sin: Created by the witch of the North, Sin has known nothing but bloodshed and sins her entire existence, but through the Guild she has been given a second chance at a normal life. Alexandria Naeth: Born into a family of Monster Hunters, Andria craved more. Talented from birth and capable of more than her peers, Andria has taken to hunting larger, more dangerous prey. Picolo Savr: Cursed by fate and abandoned by destiny, Picolo is an intelligent young man with lofty goals that the Guild can help him achieve. Iravesh Turow: A friend to the gods whose destiny is intertwined both with the divine and with the Guild.

Name: Yazid Alden Nicknames: Usually goes by his last name, Alden. Gender: Male Age: 17 Birthday: June 18 Race: Human/Elemental Profession: Scribe/Guardian of the Guild Weapons: He doesn't carry any weapons, nor would he know how to use one if given the chance. He does, however, always carry a candle, his notebook, several pens and pencils, as well as his favourite book: "The Starry Night Sky" Powers: The only innate power Alden possesses is in the ability to absorb abilities from the deaths of powerful people near him. The effects are stronger if the being is an elemental being to begin with, as he then absorbs their soul in its entirety. Magic: From Zeron, Alden gained the Power of Ice.Ice Appearance: Alden wears a thick armor made of ice, complete with a helmet. The armor is roughly made up of course ice and is pretty jagged. It seems to have random spikes sticking out at points, not as weapons, just as a show of how rough Alden's first use of his powers were. The helmet is the same, with one longer chunk of ice sticking off of the back of his head on the left side. There are small slits for vision. Increases magical resistance. Ice Commands: Freeze, Shatter, Glaciate Freeze allows Alden to make objects out of ice, including weapons, armour, and platforms and such. Shatter simply allows him to shatter said objects, like the ice shield shotgun. Glaciate combines the first two. He first has to make a point of contact with an ice construct somewhere, and then shift to Glaciate. When he does this shift, ice begins to quickly expand from wherever the contact was, and goes on continuously until Alden declares it to stop. Once he does, it shatters violently, sending large shards everywhere, and doing severe damage to anything frozen inside. Avoid this one at all costs. From Lazal, Alden gained the Power of Water.Water Appearance: Alden wears a long, dark blue, and wavy robe that ebbs and flows as his body does. The robe is adorned with wavy patterns near the bottom, and cloud patterns on the short shoulder sleeves. Alden's hair turns a dark blue colour, leaving the pony tail and becoming much more fluid in its motions and appearance. This form, Alden does not wear shoes. Increases Flexibility. Water Commands: Sparkle, Drain, Torrent Sparkle allows Alden to either restore energy or heal physical wounds to a single target that he is right beside, and using his magic water on. He can switch between the two healing aspects at will, but cannot do both at the same time. He also cannot use this on himself. Drain does the opposite, allowing Alden to drain magical and physical energy with physical contact on a target. The energy is absorbed into Alden and allows him to fight longer, but he has no weapons or armour aside from the glowing water around his hands. Torrent allows Alden to create a form of water that rushes furiously. The water will cut at anything in its path, and can also surround a target in a slicing maelstrom. Personality: He's rather shy, and prefers to keep to himself. Even if he does talk to people, he has had almost no experience outside of what he has read in books. He is more likely to sit back and observe then to jump in and join the fray. That being said, he's not especially awkward or moody. He's actually quite cheerful and is quick to talk once someone approaches him. Appearance: Alden stands at 5"5 and has long, black hair which is tied into a ponytail that goes down to the center of his back. His skin is a tan-ish color from being out in the sun, and he wears black rectangle framed glasses, which contrast greatly to his pale yellow eyes. He wears a long red scarf around his neck and a light blue shirt under a thin, slightly torn white jacket. He wears a pair of long gray slacks, and brown sandals on his feet. Extras: - Alden was spoken to by Alya's assistance, Nicashorette. He was tasked with the job of protecting the lives of the Guild members. - Alden was born to serve as a vessel for Elemental Spirits, beings of Eternia taking human form in the Mortal Realm. He can absorb them and allow them to continue living in his body. Colt Elys Age: 26 Gender: Male Race/Ethnicity: Human, Caucasian Profession: Royal Guard of the Luminary Alignment: Chaotic Good Appearance: Colt has chestnut brown hair, like his son, but it is kept short and tidy. He wears a blue plaid overshirt on top of a white T-shirt most days, even when working. He is also quite fond of blue jeans and often wears them with brown running shoes. He has brown eyes. Personality: Colt is an overall good guy; he's funny, kind, and enjoys having a good time. He is, however, firmly against the use of dark magic or witchcraft, due to his roots in Carrhilon. Weapons: Colt carries a sword with an overly long, flattened pommel. The sword is a two handed broadsword with a guard that appears to be made of chains. The sword itself is coated in silver and can be used by a pure-hearted individual to emit a dim, golden holy light. Abilities: Colt is able to use his brand of Chain Savant Magic to conjure a set of chains unique to him, both Silver and Golden chains. The Silver chains are more commonly used. Magic: Colt is able to generate and manipulate chains using his mana. He can create the chains from any point that he touches with the palms of his hands, where he has two magic circles tattooed on to act as conduits for his mana to flow. The chains he creates are silver and can be used to emit a holy light that can burn those who react negatively to such things. The chains are incredibly strong, being borderline unbreakable when trying to break them with brute force. He is also able to make Golden Chains that act to nullify the flow of Mana and cut off spellcasters once bound. Background Notes: - Colt came from simple beginnings, from a family of Chain Savants who used their magic to protect Carrhilon.
- Colt joined the Academy and was enlisted into the Carrhilon Police force.
- He was scouted due to his unique combat style that allowed for the disabling of mana to become a member of the Grand Generals of Carrhilon
- Colt, alongside Darius Wyln, Carys Arete, and Grayson DeGrey fought against the witch Kartheen.
- Colt acted as bait and was kidnapped by her.
- Upon Kartheen’s defeat, Colt was released from her clutches and found his son, Raca Elys.
- Now, he has resumed his posting in Carrhilon and is acting as the Luminary’s Royal Guard while part time fathering his adult son.

Luca Mayar Alias: Maya Age: 26 Gender: Female Race/Ethnicity: Revenant Profession: Butler Alignment: Lawful Neutral Appearance: Luca is a short woman with platinum blonde, shoulder length hair with an undercut and a short top. She has pale green eyes with golden flecks around her pupils, in the iris, that change in number based on which form she is currently in. Luca wears a butler's uniform, complete with black dress pants, white dress shirt, a light gray buttoned up vest, a black tie, and a black tailcoat that is cropped in the front and features buttons on both sides. The tailcoat is worn open. Luca wears simple, glossy black dress shoes. Luca wears a simple golden band around her ring finger on her left hand, and assorted silver rings around her other fingers. While not usually visible, Luca also has three tattoos. A sword pointing up her neck, and two matching swords going down her forearms. Luca's appearance gains features based on her current form: First Form, Path of the Nakara: Luca gains red symbols all over her body that glow and pulse with magic energy. Second Form, Path of the Preta: Luca's skin drains of colour and she gains a green glow to her hands. Third Form, Path of the Beast: Luca gains canine ears (Species: Shiba Inu) and a canine tail (Species: Shiba Inu) Fourth Form, Path of the Asura: Luca's muscles expand, and her hair grows down the length of her back and in front of her eyes. Fifth Form, Path of the Human: Straight black lines appear all over Luca's face and body, moving in 90 degree angles and crossing over her body. Sixth Form, Path of the Deva: The six golden flecks in Luca's eyes begin to shine, and her body is illuminated with a faint golden glow that accentuates the features of whatever form she came out of prior. Personality: She's a dedicated butler, often cooking and cleaning late into the night for her masters and mistress'. She will follow any command from a master or mistress without a second word. However, she is also quite skilled at and enjoys making people uncomfortable. Luca will silently watch and study anyone she deems worthy of serving, and decide whether or not to serve them on her own terms. Oftentimes she can seem rather emotionless. Weapons: Luca carries compact throwing knives in her suit that are used to create distance in her more ranged forms and allow her physical forms to act at range. Abilities: Luca’s physical skills are also above human level, and she is a damn fine butler. Luca has memories of reincarnation that has allowed her to keep power from each Path of Reincarnation that she has walked, shown by the number of flecks in her eyes. Her physicality changes with the form she takes.
Six Realms of Reincarnation The First Realm is the path of the Nakara, the Demons Boon: Luca's mind abilities become much much stronger, and she gains access to materializing sensory illusions in the minds of others, allowing her to create sensations that feel real to whoever is perceiving them; however, they are completely invisible to anyone else in the area. Detriment: Luca becomes physically drained by the exertion of her mental energy. She becomes weaker, slower, and less able to put up a fight if her illusions cannot protect her. Ability: Luca can cast a heavy hex on a target, influencing them in different ways. The most notable is changing their perception of pain, either making pain more or less perceptible. The Second Realm is the path of the Preta, the Hungry Ghosts
Boon: Her mana well is endless, but: Detriment: Her mana is drained over time. If she runs out of mana while in this form, she will be forced to switch paths, rendering the Preta path unavailable for 24 hours. Ability: Every hit she lands, Luca steals some mana from the person she hits. She can also eat mana from the air, but this takes time and she cannot move while doing it. Eating from the air also affects nearby living creatures as she siphons all the mana in the area towards her gradually. The Third Realm is the path of the Tiryag: the Beasts Boon: Natural affinity for animals, she can communicate with animals as well as control simpler ones to an extent. Does not extend to humanoid hybrids of animals; however, she is considered a hybrid while in this form and seems to be able to get along with most non-hostile hybrid as well. Detriment: Her urges become more animalistic, relying more on instinct than thought. Her mind becomes much simpler and she is more likely to fall for tricks. Ability: Can take on various animalistic forms, boosting and hindering her abilities as well as allowing her to do new things. She gains the features of the animal she is mimicking and access to their natural talents. The Fourth Realm is the path of the Asura, the Demigods Boon: Physical attributes, including physical defenses and offense are boosted greatly. She is stronger, faster, and more durable. Detriment: Mental and magical offense and defense weakened greatly. She has no way to count magic in this path, and takes more mental and physical strain from magical effects. Ability: Luca can create weapons out of nothing, and her body knows exactly how to wield them. Using normal weapons, she wouldn't know how to use anything more complicated than a sword, but she's a master with her own created weapons while in this path. . The Fifth Realm is the path of Manusya: the Humans Boon: She gains a destructive black aura that harms anything it comes into contact with. She is faster, stronger, smarter, and more resilient to physical and magical attacks. Detriment: Luca's body decays when in this form, carrying over when she switches paths. Enough decay, and she becomes very easy to kill. This form slowly kills Luca by damaging her body, so while she is strong within this Path, she is much weaker after it ends and she cannot stay in it for long. Ability: Luca can expand and contract the aura at will, changing the density as well. The more dense the aura, the more it decays both herself and whatever it touches. The Sixth Realm is the path of the Deva, Divine Beings Boon: The bonus is based on which path she switched from. Realm 1: Luca creates a "Real Illusion", which is simply a large forest covered in spots of blood and thick bushels of thorns. "Wonderland Incarnate". Luca is able to freely create and manipulate illusions within this forest, and the illusions here can do physical damage. Realm 2: Luca can copy abilities that she has seen. The potency of these abilities relies on how much energy she saps from the person whose ability she is copying. Realm 3: Luca can summon and control different animals from the Tiryag Realm. There is a limit to how many animals she can summon; however, there is no limit to what animals she can summon. Realm 4: Luca gains magic sight and protection from most magic abilities. She is almost completely immune to magic in this state as she gains a reflective "shield" of sorts around her body. Realm 5: Luca loses control of her senses, and in turn gains ridiculous power. She moves fast, hits hard, and her destructive aura gains twice the potency (To herself and her enemies). Detriment: The sixth realm drains Luca's energy extremely fast, and as such, she can only stay in it for a very short period of time. Ability: Luca can adopt a second path while walking the Path of the Gods, influencing her abilities. The second path does not receive the Boon of Deva. When the Path of the Deva ends, Luca will transition into her second path, if she is in one. Magic: Aside from her six paths, Luca has access to the Savant Magic she used when she was living. She is a Sword Savant and capable of conjuring and manipulating swords out of her mana. She was once known as the Sword Sage for her ability to infuse different elements into her swords. Now, her Savant magic is much weaker and is rarely used. Background Notes: - Luca was enrolled as a student in the Scholasticates of Centrino.
- She was gifted with powerful Savant Magic and was offered a position on the Syndicate
- She turned down the offer, and instead became one of the Grand Generals of Carrhilon.
- As a Grand General, she fought against the evil witch Kartheen.
- During this time, she fell in love with fellow General, Darius Wyln.
- Her love was used against her and she was killed by Kartheen while protecting Darius.
- In death, she was claimed by Yggdrasil and walked through the paths of Reincarnation.
- Rather than being cleansed or reborn, Luca’s Soul was preserved.
- Luca’s soul survived moving through all six realms of reincarnation before being placed back into the Mortal Plane from where she came, having not aged a day despite living through many lifetimes.
- Now, having experienced death, she hides from her old identity and serves the Guild faithfully.

Darius Wyln Alias: The Soul Scientist Age: 36 Gender: Male Race/Ethnicity: Human; Soul Channeler Profession: Soul Researcher Alignment: Lawful Neutral Appearance: Darius is a gaunt man, tall and lean. Darius looks perpetually exhausted, with dark bags under his pale gray eyes, and short, messy black hair that looks like it has been slept on. His hair is starting to gray, despite his relatively young age. He wears a black V-cut cashmere sweater vest over top of a white dress shirt with the top button left undone. Over this, he wears a knee-length white lab coat with pockets at the waist, and once over his heart. The lab coat is perpetually open and Darius generally keeps his hands in the pockets. Darius wears black dress pants and matte black loafers. He wears black socks that are visible between his ankle and pants leg. Darius also has a scar through his right eyebrow that just narrowly avoids his eye, bisecting his eyebrow through the center and ending on the outside of his right eye. Personality: Untrusting and grumpy, Darius is a hermit who lives in isolation and only sees a few people regularly. He is slow to warm up to people and even slower to trust. Weapons: As a Soul Kravter, Darius is able to turn his Life Force into pendants to be expanded on and turned into weapons. In his lab coat, Darius keeps dozens of pendants that can be turned into all manner of weapons, specialized tools, and short "burst" effects in disposable pendants. Abilities: Darius is able to craft his Life Force into silver pendants that he keeps in his lab coat. The pendants can be formed into weapons, magic-like effects, or tools and items to help Darius and his companions with whatever task they have at hand. Kravting takes time and is unsuited for battle, so Darius must prepare in his downtime; however, preparation gives him the tools he needs to be ready for any challenge, if given enough time. Magic: As a Soul Channeler, Darius was born without mana and thus cannot use magic. His pendants carry this trait and their effects are non-magical. Background Notes: - Darius’ childhood is tragic and not often shared.
- He was selected to join the Grand Generals of Carrhilon despite having no previous training in the Scholasticates or Military Academy.
- There, he fell in love with Luca Mayar and the two of them had plans to get married after the Kartheen conflict was over.
- Unfortunately, Luca was killed in the conflict, which caused Darius to isolate himself.
- Darius built himself a laboratory and began studying the Soul in order to find a way to both preserve himself and experiment to bring Luca back to life.

Pipenissa Larissa Alias: gremlin
Age: 428.5 Gender: Female Race/Ethnicity: Gnome Profession: Alchemist Alignment: Chaotic Good Appearance: Pip stands at a whopping 3'3". She has bright pink hair that is perpetually tied into twin ponytails. She appears very child like for her age due to her gnomish genes, and typically acts like it. She usually wears a gown of some sort, typically in bright gradients. Personality: Pip is upbeat and loves to cause trouble with harmless jokes. She is an absolute whirlwind of chaos, leaving behind anarchy in her wake, but she’s harmless. Weapons: Pipenissa doesn't really carry around "weapons", rather she carries flasks, vials, and all sorts of concoctions that can be weaponized at a moment's notice. She has pretty good aim when tossing her mixtures and she specializes in transformative brews. She also has a walking/bonking stick. She was also gifted with a Rymshard by the Goddess of Chaos, Maruge. Her Rymshard was infused in her alchemy and became an Alchemy Shard that allows Pipenissa’s potions and concoctions to be much stronger than before, and has unlocked new recipes for her to craft. Abilities: As a Gnome, PIpenissa has short stature and a long lifespan. Due to her Rymshard, Pip is also immune to most illnesses as she can concoct medicine for practically any ailment. Magic: Pip is able to use her Rymshard to imbue her potions with additional effects. She can also use her walking stick like a staff and channel her shards' effects through it. Overall, though, she is not much of a fighter and is best kept away from battle. Background Notes: - Pip was a curious child, spending her days combining things to see the result.
- She wound up discovering how to make acid and spent some time playing with that before growing bored.
- Pip spent more time with her concoctions and developed a firewater brew, which allowed her to set lames on a whim and expanded her alchemic knowledge.
- As time went on, Pipenissa learned and developed more and more recipes for various alchemical substances, culminating in discovering a Panacea that she made for her dying mother.
- In applying the panacea, she managed to stave off the illness of her mother and she lived another 100 years.
- Having solved medicine, Pipenissa stored her panacea away and spent her time figuring out how to perform more advanced tasks with her potions.
- That is when she discovered how to make wormholes by bending time and space with her potions.
- This feat caused a visit from the Goddess of Chaos and resulted in the gift of a Rymshard in exchange for never advancing her wormhole potions to expand beyond this mortal plane.
- Pip agreed and took her new toy to dip in some of her potions, which created her Alchemy Shard that allows for enhancing Alchemy.

Grayson “Delrio Las Vanitos Von Triaton Deluxe III” DeGrey Alias: Gray Age: 26 Gender: Male Race/Ethnicity: Human; Soul Channeler Profession: Consultant Alignment: Chaotic Good Appearance: Grayson is an average man at 5'6", with soft brown hair. He wears a light gray overshirt over top of a dark gray tee-shirt with a disjointed circular spiral pattern on it. He wears white shorts and would not be caught dead without his key-shaped necklace. Personality: He’s an idiot, while simultaneously being a genius. He’s cold and uncaring but will sacrifice himself at the drop of a hat. He’s made of contradictions and paradoxes, but whatever he does, there is a reason behind it and it’s generally for the greater good. Weapons: Grayson is known for his signature key shaped pendant that he can shift into a chained scythe. The scythe is weightless while Gray wields it, yet is quite heavy for anyone else due to being made a piece of his soul. He is also a Soul Fist which allows him to project his soul into his body to augment his strikes and turn his fists into weapons. Abilities: As a Soul Fist, Grayson is able to project Life Force directly into his Body, which allows for some unique properties. Specifically, Grayson can attune his Life Force to that of another person’s, which can allow him to harm Life Force through the Body. This ability takes time to set up as he has to learn his target and is near impossible to perform in the middle of combat. In addition, Gray has transcended what a normal Soul Fist is capable of and learned to project his Life Force out in a harmless sphere. He is then able to rapidly swap locations with his Life Force, transferring his Body to the Life Force and vice versa. This ability also works on his Scythe. Finally, due to his mastery of his own Soul, Grayson has learned to change the qualities of his Life Force in order to cause unique effects like generating heat/hold or change the impact of his hits from blunt to piercing. Magic: As a Soul Channeler, Grayson does not have Mana and thus is incapable of using magic. Background Notes: - Grayson was born to one of the three noble families of Carrhilon.
- His mother died during childbirth and his father died protecting Grayson during an expedition.
- Grayson survived on his own, using his father’s teaching to thrive in the wilderness.
- Eventually, Grayson returned to civilization and attended the military academy in Carrhilon.
- He excelled in the militaristic school and found himself as one of the Grand Generals of Carrhilon at a young age.
- He worked alongside Luca Mayar, Darius Wyln, and Colt Elys to combat the evil with Kartheen.
- Afterwards, he joined up with the Guild and the rest is history.

Aion Naeth Age: 24 Gender: Male Race/Ethnicity: Human; Soul Channeler Profession: Monster Hunter Alignment: Neutral Good Appearance: With light gray eyes, Aion is about 5'4" and has a very lean, well toned physique. Aion has long, blonde hair which goes down to his back, the very end tied up with a blue hair bow. His hair curls around his ears and his shoulders, and his bangs are short but curly. Due to overusing his magic, Aion's hair is slowly turning black from the roots, but is very inconsistent, especially in his bangs where he has one black strand braided and tied with a small blue hair bow. He wears a shoulderless black shirt with black feather lining over the shoulders. The shirt is tight to his body, but Aion wears a sleeveless white jacket that's open from the neck to the middle of his chest; in the back, the jacket goes down to his lower back before splitting down the middle. Aion wears long black pants and dress shoes. Unattached to his shirt, baggy white sleeves float above his elbows, held up by a magic golden ring on either side; the sleeves hide his hands completely. On his right hip, a small leather bag hangs freely from a golden ring, which floats next to his waist. His rings are split on his hands, on his left fingers he wears the four basic elements, while on his right, he wears the three more advanced. The rings are simple gold bands, with gems on them to match the colour of the element they are. The rings are as follows on his fingers:

Aion enjoys a good fight more than most other people. He's smart, a given for a mage, and won’t let anyone forget it. He values his strength, as that's only how he knows to weigh his self worth, and LOVES money, often saying he will do anything for money. The limit of “anything” is something he tends to avoid discussing. Weapons: Seven rings used to attack with magic of different elements. The rings are as followed: Fire, Earth, Water, Air, Light, Arcane, and Black. The Rings allow him to project his Life Force through them in order to draw magic-enhancing circles along surfaces. Abilities: Aion project circles onto the ground using one of his rings. By standing on a ground based circle, he gains access to Basic and Intermediate spells of that level. Aion can have multiple circles in a fight, however, they take time to draw, and he cannot draw them in quick succession. If he's serious, Aion can use his rings themselves to unlock his Advanced magic, but this tires him greatly. Aion is fairly adept at controlling magic, despite knowing none himself. If he makes contact with someone when they are casting a spell, he can copy that spell and cast it simultaneously, at a lesser effect by attuning to their Life Force. He is also able to tune his spells to particular Life Force wavelengths, thus changing who or what it can actually affect. Both of these skills take familiarity with his allies that takes time to learn.
Elemental Breakdown: Fire: Most offensive focused element. The fire circle grants enhanced resistance to fire, and he will radiate flames for a short while upon leaving it. Earth: Most defensive focused element. The Earth circle grants him harder skin, and a greater resistance to all physical based attacks, as if he is coated in stone. Water: A mixed offensive and defensive element. The water circle grants him and anyone else inside of it the ability to breathe underwater, as well as giving Aion a resistance to water and ice based attacks. Air: Mixed offensive, and utility element. The air circle grants Aion the ability to ride air currents for a short time upon leaving the circle, allowing him to jump higher or further. It also grants him enhanced resistance to wind-based effects. Light: Defensive, Supportive, and utility element. The light circle grants enhanced resistance to light based attacks, the ability to see in the dark, and the ability to create extremely bright lights Aion also glows while standing in this circle and shortly after leaving it.. Arcane: Offensive, with some added utility. The Arcane circle grants Resistance to all magic attacks, although less than a specific circle, and powers up the power of ALL his circles, regardless of where they are placed. Black: The forbidden circle. Known as "Devil's Ring", this ring allows Aion to place "Pacts" on people or objects that ensure deals are maintained. Deal with caution. Advanced Ring Magic: Aion can go into advanced magic with his rings by activating them with his Life Force. When he activates a ring, he will be able to instantly create a circle of that element, as well as move it by pointing with the activated ring. He cannot have more than one ring activated at a time, but he is capable of swapping his active ring. Magic: As a Soul Channeler, Aion has no mana and is incapable of using Magic; however, the Naeth family forms Pacts with greater beings to allow for their magic to flow through their bodies. So while Aion cannot cast without his Pact, he has formed a Pact with Seven Celestials and can use their magic once certain conditions are met. Background Notes: - The Naeth family is a well-regarded monster hunting family that utilizes Pacts with powerful beings.
- During childhood, Aion could not use magic and thus was not allowed to form a Pact.
- Not accepting this, Aion went out on his own and demanded a Pact with the Celestials.
- In doing so, he was granted a Pact with not one Celestial, but Seven as he threw his Pact up for any to claim.
- The force of multiple Pacts would be enough to kill a normal man, but Aion was awoken to his Soul Channeler powers and his Life Force was strong enough to persist.
- Aion returned to his family, triumphant with the seven rings of his pacts.
- He was promptly charged with all manner of crimes against his family and the Celestials and burdened with a great debt before being allowed to return to his family.

Carys Arete Alias: The Goddess of Love Age: 24 Gender: Female Race/Ethnicity: Human; Soul Channeler Profession: Small Business Owner Alignment: Chaotic Good Appearance: Brown hair, with bangs that fall to each side of her face, and a ponytail on the back. She wears a pink headband dotted with tiny gems. She has light gray eyes. Carys wears a white shirt revealing her abdomen and forearms, held closed by a band below her collar, and tied in a knot below her chest, which was exposed by the shirt and covered in a dark bikini top, with white edges. She wears a heart shaped pendant with a large pink rock filling it in on twine around her neck, and has matching earrings. She has a heart shaped tattoo on her lower back, and she is never seen without a dark purple shawl on her shoulders. She is about 5'6". Personality: Carys is a flirty and upbeat owner of the popular Love Hotel Saxi located in Calypso. She takes in people from the streets and turns them into respectable people. She is usually pretty easy to be around, but if you hurt one of the people she's taking care of she will quickly become your worst nightmare. Overall, she is kind hearted and a genuinely good person, when she isn’t forcibly meddling in the love lives of those she cares about. Weapons: Carys isn’t trained with any traditional weapons because as a Soul Reader, her strength isn’t in combat; however, she is able to manipulate her Shawl using her Life Force in order to create large hands that function as an extension of her body. Abilities: Carys' powers as a Soul Reader are stronger than most of her class. She is able to see into the hearts of those around her and discover the real person beneath all the smoke and mirrors. Her powers feed off of love, and are much stronger on people who are in love. She also has an innate ability to sense love around her, like a bloodhound.. She has abilities for divination and farseeing, such as Diamond Eyes, an ability that allows a person Carys touches to see through the eyes of their lover, regardless of distance. She can also tap into the heart to learn memories and hidden emotions. She is very skilled at traversing the hearts of others, but this ability is largely useless in battle due to the fact that she completely leaves her body while using it.
Heart Tap: Carys is able to enter the hearts of people she comes into contact with. Within their heart, she sits atop a throne and can observe anything the participant is willing to share, and then some. Diamond Eyes: By placing her hand on another person's shoulder, Carys and said person can witness the world through the eyes of a loved one. Heart Link: Carys can tie two hearts together, causing the Linked hearts to share pain even over great distances. The two bound must know each other and be on friendly terms. The strength of this ability is determined by the relationship of the Linked targets. One-Way Heart Link: An alternate version of Heart Link, wherein Carys places the Link on a single person. When a specified person is injured, the pain will also be transmitted to the Linked target. Both marks must be applied through physical contact, and Carys can only have one Link active at a time. Lover's Touch: Through her own soul's natural energy, Carys can mend the non-physical wounds of any she touches, such as damages to mana or Life Force. This ability wears her out rather fast, however, as she rarely uses it. Purple Tapestry: Carys is able to place her Life Force into the shawl around her neck as it is made of her pure Life Force given a physical form. The Shawl is quite strong and particularly durable, which makes it an excellent tool for defense and Carys’ primary tool in combat. Red String: By extending a red string from her finger tip, Carys is able to grab hold of another's heart with force. If she manages to connect this attack, it allows her to manipulate the heart of a non-willing victim. This is only used as a last ditch attempt. Blooming Rose: A tragic ability tied to the Red String. Should Carys desire it, she can cause the String to bloom and harm the world inside another person's heart, effectively leaving their positive emotions dulled permanently. Farsight: Carys can peer into the distance to Observe those whose hearts she has touched at any time, leaving her body behind to do so. Heart Sense: Carys has an innate ability that allows her to "feel the love" in a room. Magic: As a Soul Channeler, Carys has no mana and thus cannot use magic. Background Notes: - Carys was a happy child who grew up with stories of princes rescuing princesses, falling in love, then getting married.

- Carys was told from a young age that she would not have a long life.
- Soul Reading takes an incredible amount of energy, and in doing so, she would burn herself out at a young age.
- Rather than let this weigh her down, Carys’ resolve was set in stone and she decided to bring love to the world.
- She opened the Hotel Saxi as a way to bring people in off the streets and mentor them, as well as make a living for herself and the people in her care.

Vega Vica Alias: White Knight/Flame Devil Age: 22 Gender: Male Race/Ethnicity: Human Profession: Night Club Owner Alignment: Neutral Good Appearance: With jet black hair that is about a middling length, and always looks untidy but still manages to be good looking, Vega often wears a charming smile and lets his smoldering good looks do the talking. There's a veritable fire in his dark gray eyes. He wears a long black jacket over top of a white dress shirt. His jacket is black, but is accented with red near the bottom in upwards pointing triangles where the pockets would go if they were on his knees. He also wears black slacks and classy black dress shoes. Personality: A cocky womanizer, two things Vega loves in this world are women and bragging. He comes alive when he does both at the same time. Surprisingly, he is not a hot head and is actually calm in almost every situation. He's pretty smart and good to have around. Regardless of everything, Vega is devoted completely to his current "Princess", for however long that may last. Weapons: Vega wields dual Dao swords and is quite skilled with them. He also has a single pistol that he has been known to pair with a single sword fighting style. Typically, he uses his weapons paired with magic, but not always. He is also very fit and skilled at parkour. Abilities: Vega is an unremarkable human and his only abilities come from his mana, with the ability to consume flames in order to attune his mana to those flames. By consuming fire, he can then reproduce those flames. Magic: Vega has complete control over fire, both magical and natural. His proficiency allows him to "steal" the flames of other flame users that aren't as specialized, or as powerful as him. He lacks any resistance to fire, however. His control over fire is not limited to basic fire. He can create, manipulate, and transform flames into different colours with different effects.
Fire Types: Normal: With a name like "Normal", what did you expect? Red: Red flames burn hotter than normal flames. They inflict more damage and have a "Degeneration" property. If they stay on something long enough, it will be destroyed eventually. Blue: Blue flames burn cold. They counter water, as they freeze any water they come into contact with immediately. If they come into contact with skin, they will inflict frostbite. Yellow: Yellow flames heal as they burn. Yellow flames can awaken the body while mending wounds. They are also known for revitalizing the spirit. Orange: Orange flames are able to solidify, creating all sorts of constructs. Most commonly used for defense. Purple: Purple flames are sticky. They can be manipulated much better than other flames, and can stick to objects and people. They can then be pulled in to pull objects into sword slashing range. Green: Green flames stink, taste bad, and are dangerous to inhale. If inhaled, the smoke from green flames creates a painful burning in the lungs that makes breathing difficult. Pink: Pink flames weaken the physical aspects of whatever they touch and soften them, allowing for easier breakage. White(Holy): Flames that burn with a holy light. Demons beware. Black(Death): Black flames never stop burning. You can try to drain their magic, douse them with water, it won't work. These flames will burn on and on until what they are created to destroy is destroyed or the creator calls them off. Dark magic requires the Caster’s Life Force. Demon: Demon flames. Resistant to water. Can cause "Corruption Burns", which add more damage when hit by holy magic. Are green and black.

- Moving through the ranks, Vega was elected Grand General of the South and marked with his Empath.
- Taking his oath, Vega swore his life to the Luminary and protection of Carrhilon.
- In order to act in this role, he left Carrhilon and went south, to Calypso in order to establish a secondary base for the Luminary if things escalated in Carrhilon.
- There, he opened and operated the club Priapus, working alongside the Hotel Saxi to help keep Calypso safe to this day

Raca Elys Age: 20 Gender: Male Race/Ethnicity: Half Demon/Human Profession: Unemployed Alignment: True Neutral Appearance: Raca is about 5'7 and has chestnut brown hair that is about medium length and falls almost to his eyes. He could probably use a haircut. He often wears graphic tees with skull designs on them, and usually a black leather jacket. He is also quite fond of black shorts. Raca almost always wears a scowl, and he has a scar above his right eye. He also has a black demon tail that he keeps curled up and hidden within his shorts, to great discomfort. Personality: Raca is a grumpy introvert who dislikes the outside world. He doesn't really like the inside world either. He's a down on his luck loser who has a grudge against any and everybody he passes in the street. Raca is not proud of his demon half, and goes to great lengths to hide it. He secretly blames his misfortune on his Demon Mother. Weapons: Raca is a largely unarmed fighter, aside from the use of his powers. He knows how to swing stuff pretty efficiently though. Abilities: Due to his half blooded nature, Raca is able to manipulate shadows. However, he is not very well practiced in those abilities and as such the extent that he can manipulate is limited to his own shadow. Magic: Raca can conjure and manipulate two forms of metal using Chain Savant magic. He can create Chains and Barbed Wires. The chains can be thin or thick, and serve a variety of purposes, while the barbed wire is only used in specific attacks. By combining his Shadow Magic with his Chain Savant magic, he can extend the range of his chain conjuration through his shadow. Background Notes: - Raca’s father is Colt Elys, hero of Carrhilon who banished the witch Kartheen.
- Raca’s mother is the witch Kartheen.
- In the conflict between them, Kartheen enslaved Colt’s soul and unleashed Raca on the world, so growing up Raca was alone.
- Raca trusted no one due to the whispers of his mother in his mind.
- Now, Raca lives in the Guild while his father is back in Carrhilon, learning to control his powers.

Shiki Alberona Age: 19 Gender: Female Race/Ethnicity: Aberrant Human; Fortune Savant Profession: Student Alignment: Neutral Good Appearance: She has a light blonde hair that fades into crimson at the ends, she wears big circular glasses, and almost always has a smile. Her left eye is a sharp red colour, while her right is emerald green. She wears a black school uniform with a skirt, and a large yellow cloak with a hood. The hood has a lining of green. She stands at a height of 5"4'. She has a purple fuzzy purse which falls from her shoulder and stops at her hip. It contains all her cards, food, water, and money. Her left arm and abdomen are black and corrupted with demonic energy. On her left hand, a black ring with a 666 engraved onto it is attached to her ring finger. The ring will not come off, no matter how much force is applied. Personality: A complete ditz. She is clumsy, and often forgets things. Despite being taken over most of the time, she holds no hatred towards Takashi. She is a kind, and sincere person, who would never lie. She always tries her hardest, despite overwhelming odds. She is also a fiercely loyal friend who will protect her friends, even if all odds seem against them. Weapons: A custom deck of 31 Tarot cards that she created herself. The cards have six suits, Cups(Water), Swords(Air), Wands(Fire), Pentacles(Earth), Crosses(Light), and Bullets(Darkness) that each contain an Ace, Jack, Knight, Queen, and King. The odd card out is a Joker. Abilities: Shiki is a perfectly average human girl. Magic: While fighting, Shiki is able to draw her Cards one at a time after shuffling them. When she draws a card, she is able to infuse mana into it to create an effect, based on the card drawn. The suit and image on the card determine the effects. Shiki can also use her cards to perform divinations, however she is not always accurate. Ever since merging with Takashi, Shiki's magical potential has skyrocketed. Her mana pool is much larger, and thus she can perform stronger attacks and more accurate divinations. Background Notes: - She was born completely normal, and raised completely normal. No emotional baggage, no scarring, just a happy, normal life.
- When she turned 16, Shiki received a ring from her parents.
- A "good luck" ring as a parting gift. When she put it on she felt a spark, and suddenly, she could feel something inside of her, growing in power; the ring she had been given had begun to darken.
- Shiki had unlocked her potential through this one ring, and was now able to see things more clearly.
- Living inside Calypso City, and being used to the gambling environment, Shiki gained a knack for card tricks over the years, that she developed into reading fortunes using her family's Savant
- She returned to her happy normal life, until the day that would change her life forever. Another voice in her head spoke to her, and she spoke back.
- A man by the name of Takashi who had lost his body had taken host within her ring. After some talking, Shiki decided to allow Takashi to use her body as his own, and so the deal that would change her life forever was forged.
- Shiki grew up with her parents’ family trade in divination.
- Her ancestors made a deal with a demon in exchange for their powers.
- This deal lasted generations, and resulted in the Alberona family carrying a debt.
- Each generation must work in servitude of the Demon at his whim; however, in recent generations the demon has been silent.
- Shiki was given a ring from her mother, a family heirloom said to protect them from the demon.
- Inside the ring rests a trapped soul of Takeshi Kraujas, cursed to protect the wearer of the ring for 100 generations,
- Shiki carries her family’s curse and the cursed ring with her everywhere she goes.
- She is attending Calypso U to pursue a degree in media.
- Shortly after meeting the soul in the ring, Shiki was attacked and forced to flee Calypso.

Takashi Kraujas Age: Centuries old, but looks the same age as his host, 19 Gender: Male Race/Ethnicity: Previously Human; Soul Flayer Profession: Protector of the Alberona Family Alignment: Chaotic Neutral Appearance: Takeshi has long black hair that shifts into white at the lower tips. He has sharp, red eyes and stands at a height of 5'9". His facial features are well defined. He has a strong jawline. He wears a black jacket over a red cape wrapped around his body like a shirt without shoulders, and ripped black dress pants. In combat, he will openly cut his arm to mark the time. Leaving the scar until after the battle is finished. His left arm contains a black ring with a 666 carved into it, and the arm itself is completely black. Corrupted, Demonic mana invades every inch of this arm. Personality: Takeshi is very cocky, and knows full well the extent of his power. He is very loyal; however, earning his trust is hard. He is rather chaotic and rides the line of evil rather than good. Weapons: Two knives. One holstered on his right hip, the other on his left shoulder. A black ring with a glossy black gem, engraved with a "666". This ring is Takashi's anchor to reality that keeps his soul bound. Abilities: As a Soul Flayer, Takeshi has been cursed to meld his soul to the wearer of his ring. When his bound soul is wearing his ring, Takeshi can assume control of their body and overlay his image over theirs in order to directly influence the world. This is the only way he can act in the world outside of his ring. Magic: Blood magic; Takashi can manipulate blood normally, or create symbols, and do some pretty powerful spells, with the right amount of blood. Although in combat, he rarely draws the symbols due to the time it requires. As a rather advanced part of his manipulation, Takashi can harden and liquefy his blood to suit his needs. If Takashi's blood comes into contact with other individuals, he can manipulate that blood too, however, if it returns into their bloodstream, he cannot. Takashi can "gift" other people with his blood, allowing him to track them if they are close. Background Notes: - Takeshi was born in a small fishing village under assault by a mighty demon.
- He was a warrior of his village, using advanced spearcrafting techniques to develop weapons in order to fight back the rampaging mythos.
- Takeshi was successful in driving back the mythos until he was approached by a group of men wearing silver masks.
- He was enlisted into the Silver Masks, an organization set on balancing the world.
- Takeshi left his village behind and as a result, it was destroyed.
- Takeshi was distraught by this and cursed the Silver Masks, he left them and in return they ripped his Soul from his body and turned him into a Soul Flayer, placing his soul into the ring.
- To add insult to injury, the Silver Masks pledged the ring to the Alberona Family, a group of mystics who made a pact with the demon that destroyed his village.
- Now, Takeshi has protected the Alberona family for over 100 generations and is bound to Shiki Alberona.

Tael Naeyun Alias: Copycat Kid Age: 17 Gender: Male Race/Ethnicity: Aberrant Human; Savant Profession: Vigilante Alignment: Lawful Good Appearance: Tael may not have his father’s morality, but he has his looks. Tael has bright red hair and a serious look about his face. His eyes are a dark blue colour and he is about 5’8”. He wears a black jacket that folds over itself and is never seen without his red scarf. He typically wears jeans and runners. When he is doing his vigilante work, he will don a black mask to cover his eyes and wears a red bandanna to obscure his hair. Personality: Tael is clever, but definitely not as smart as he believes he is. He is brash, impulsive, and prone to jumping the gun. He’s also the rebellious sort but has a strict code of honour that dictates his daily decisions and led him down the path of a vigilante. Weapons: The pen is mightier than the sword with Tael. He uses a special brush, canvas, and ink made from his Life Force that allows him to copy and replicate the abilities and magic of others. His ink is limited, and requires refilling during his downtime in order to function. His ink also enables him to copy the weapons of others as well, though he will lack proficiency with the more strange ones. Abilities: Tael is a rather unremarkable human, but with his brush and ink he is capable of temporarily adopting the abilities of others, including physical markers. Tael is also capable of using his family’s Rune Savant Magic, but rarely does so unless he runs out of ink and gets desperate. Magic: Tael’s mana requires his Life Force to be diffused into ink before he can use it. He can then copy the magic of others by drawing them casting or performing the spell. So long as it’s visible and can be drawn, Tael can copy it. He triggers his copied effects by ripping the page out of his canvas book. The loose pages burn up as the effect is produced. Tael’s Rune Savant Magic is the same as his father’s, but less refined. His Runes are restricted to physical surfaces, like his notebook, and he can only link two or three runes together for limited effects. Background Notes: - Tael’s father is the chief of defense in Carrhilon, which meant Tael’s childhood was strictly spent being not a child.
- He was trained in Runic Savant magic, but Tael never paid attention in these classes.
- Instead, he taught himself how to use his own brand of magic.
- Tael’s magic was created in order to counter his family’s Runic Savant Magic so he could best his father.
- Tael left home and worked on his own to bring justice to criminals, working with the Guild whenever he can.

Galen Vesalius Age: 22 Gender: Male Race/Ethnicity: Human, Caucasian Profession: Medical Student Alignment: Neutral Good Appearance: Galen has short black hair that he keeps tidy and in order. Every morning he spikes up the front with a high quality hair gel. Galen's left eye is a pale blue colour, but his right eye, when revealed, is a brilliant light blue with complicated magic circles drawn right onto it. Galen always covers his right eye with a black eye patch, with a white caduceus on it. He wears a loose fitting white scrubs shirt with a dark blue blazer open over top. He wears dark pants and has black steel toed shoes. Galen is 5'9.
Personality: Galen tries his best to live up to his parents’ expectations and while he excels at medicine in his studies, he worries deep down that he won’t be a qualified doctor so he spends all his time dedicated to pursuing that dream. In his offtime, he can be found helping people and volunteering his time to various charities and organizations. Weapons: Galen does not carry weapons and is effectively a non-combative character. Abilities: Galen’s right eye has been replaced with a magic item that allows for precise vision to aid in performing surgery; however his eye also has the benefit of being able to see mana and life force, which often blinds Galen as he is not used to seeing Magic: Galen has been gifted with the power of effectively pumping his mana into others and siphoning mana from others as well.
